Consists of receipts kept from 1831 to 1835 relating to the firms George Stewardson & Co. and Stewardson, Cabot & Co. The majority of the entries note dollar amounts paid to other merchants, shippers, and craftspeople. Several mention goods either on consignment or shipped to Stewardson. Occassionally, references are made to such activities as sign painting, dying, carding, and finishing.
